Statistics & Sponsorship
Please note that these
figures do not include the web traffic created when
viewing all the online Photo Galleries otherwise you'd
see an huge increase in hits and page views. My photo
galleries are hosted on
www.pbase.com/stlbiking simply because of the
tremendous bandwidth usage it produces on a monthly
basis. Pbase servers are designed to give optimum photo
file viewing capability. Pbase is no longer free except
for personal use that limits you to a fraction on the
photos that I've got posted online. So besides my host
server, I'm also paying to use another server at Pbase.
Large photo image files really eat up the bandwidth. The
last time I checked stlbiking had 111 galleries with
5,628 images uploaded which been viewed 1,302, 930 as of
May 28, 2005.
Become a
STLBIKING Sponsor
This website doesn't really want to flood every
other page with flashing banner ads that drive everyone
crazy and creates those disturbing pop-up windows to
grab your attention. However, funding is required to
keep STLBIKING as banner free as possible. It cost
money for computers, servers, software, scanners,
broadband connection and more. My guess is that 15-25
hours per week go into keep this website as current as
possible. If I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't do it.
Annual sponsorships fees
are $100 which is much less than one small newspaper ad.
In return you get the recognition of your peers and most
importantly . . . your customers. Email me for more
detailed information. It's all pretty simple! Cyclists
are a loyal group. Got a special promotion coming around
the corner - I can help.
Viewers make the
difference but the website
sponsors truly make this site possible! Whenever you
visit one of the sponsors make a point to say that you
appreciate their funding of STLBIKING. The growth of the
website has been amazing. These statistics will be
update at the end of each month.
