Upload Your Photos For Use On The message board

You've got a cool photo and you want to share it by posting it on the stlbiking message board here's how you do it quickly and at no cost. Upload it to www.imgspot.com

Never uploaded a image file before? It's pretty easy using this free website.

Perfect for use when you've got something to sell.

When you log onto www.imgspot.com  the page will look like the graphic to the left but larger.

Using the "browse" button near the center select the image you want to upload to their server and simply click the button. Depending on the file size and your Internet connection time will vary.

The nest page will show you the url of your image. You will need to copy and paste this link to display your image properly. There are several selections to choose from.

For posting your image on the stlbiking message board you should select the link titled "Your Image in BB Code". By using this link you DO NOT need to add the link via the message board because it's already written in the correct code. Pretty slick right?

Important notes
Once you close this browser you can not retrieve the URL again. It's the downside of a free service. So when you upload your image & copy the url Do Not close this browser. Instead open a new browser and navigate to the message board. This way if you failed to copy it correctly the page with list of urls is waiting for you to try again.

Photo Size
It's very important to resize your photo so it will appear correctly on the message board. My guess is to try about 400 pixels in width. The smaller file size will also increase download time for those not using a broadband connection.

Of course if you want to display the image in full size. Example: Selling a bike! Instead of embedding the image into your post just add the link. In this case select "Your Image URL".
