Just a heads up that there is a young guy (late teens maybe) out riding his dirt bike on the Katy Trail.  The trail was pretty busy for a Tuesday afternoon and this kid was definitely going at an unsafe speed with no care in the world.  He blew past me just before Klondike as I was heading east (he was going west).

About 1 1/2 hours later on my way back I saw the park ranger and mentioned it to him.  He was actually out there looking for him.  He seemed pretty convinced he was going to find him.  I wish I remembered at the time, but the young kids at Katy Trail Bike Rental seemed to know who it was.

There is also a small batch of branches down between the Klondike boat ramp and the Katy Trail Matson trailhead.  Can easily be removed with a pack saw.  Also a shout out to the kind gentleman who shuttled me across the Missouri River bridge in Washington.  Karma works.
Pizza is life.  Beer helps.
