Misaligned Minds Century is September 21, 2013 in Paducah, Kentucky. This is put on by the Chain Reaction Cycling Club in Paducah and is a really nice century. I rode it for the first time last and can attest that it is a really cool century route.

The Following too Closely charge was dropped before my court date. There was a witness to the incident but so far she has been reluctant to come forward, so we will most likely have to subpoena her. We will file suit to recover my medical bills, damage to my bike, and pain and suffering for my injuries. It's going to be interesting.

On July 19th I was squeezed into a curb by a pickup truck driver and I was able to hold my line and made it through. Since the driver failed to run me into the curb, he abruptly swerved in front of me and slammed on his brakes. I plowed headlong into him at 15-18 mph and got beat up fairly well. The guy jumped out of his truck and came to where I was laying, grabbed my handlebars as if to throw the bike out of the way, I guess so he could stomp on me, and cursed me like a dog. Luckily I was still clipped in so he couldn't get to me. I came to my feet enraged and you should have seen the surprised look on the terrorist. Cape Girardeau police gave me a ticket for following too closely!!!!  I will post a more detailed report here after I meet with my attorney this Friday.
