okey doke. on tuesday sept 4 at 8AM you may contact our most gracious campground hostess stacy wakefield at 314-359-9286. rates for this year will be $10/single site, $20/double site and $25/group. wood is $5 a bundle. be prepared to pay over the phone. if you are not camping there is still a day use fee, payable in the pipe at the entrance. the shower house is being torn down and rebuilt for next season, so no hot showers. of course there will be water at all the spigots in the campground, for free! once again, there is online registration and the first 150 peeps will get a spanky t-shirt. only a few weeks to go. prepare yourselves!

"KICKING IT INTO GEAR" ON THE OT!!

09/08/2012 08:30:00 AM
Maintenance:

WHOOOOHOOO!!!!! Did ya miss the OT?  Well if so, it's time to kick it into gear for the upcoming year on the OT!!!  And what better way than to join other OTA volunteers as we hit the OT to start getting the trail in ship-shape condition for the upcoming season.

We will split into groups to do tread repair, tread widening, lopping, sawing, signing and and whatever it takes to make the OT SHINE!!!!  New volunteers will be paired up with 'seasoned veterans' and all tools and instructions will be provided.

Camping will be free at Council Bluff for Friday and Saturday nights and there will be a free BBQ dinner provided for the Saturday evening meal.

Does anyone know if there's a way to see registered racers/teams on the registration site?  I'm not seeing one.

I have looked at all the links and can't seem to find the start time. Is it a secret? I seem to remember it started @ 9am.

Question: I was just asked by a beginner to join the virgin category for a 3 man team. There is one sport rider on the team already... I raced 3 sport races in my career, the last one being 6 years ago. Can I go back to beginner considering the time gap?

You have to look and read all the blog entries. It looks like meeting @ 7am and start @ 9. But you ate right about the start time being a little hard to find.

On a separate note. Anybody looking for a extra rider?
