Hi there. Like the title says. I am looking for a MTB frame. I am looking at towards a carbon frame. But will certainly entertain other materials as well. I am looking for a 16-17" frame. Does not matter if it can take v-brake or disc, I can accomadate for that. I want it to be for 26" wheels. I am looking to build this up as a SS bike, which I have done in the past. Here is what I want

MTB frame: Prefer to be carbon, but will entertain other materials
16-17" Size
26" Wheels
v-brake or disc capable, or both is fine.
Geared frames only.

Please let me know what you have, condition, and size, price. Also pics would be awesome as well.

Thanks. Right now I am working up by Castlewood Park, so I can meet to take a look at what you have, and go from there.

Thanks,
James

Still looking for a frame?  I have a ~1996 Trek 8500 frame, gold in color.  It's roughly a 16".  I have an old Judy SL that works too.  And an old Chris King headset that came off the bike.  Those frames were nice; aluminum tubing bonded to lugs and made in the USA.

Still looking for something. I would like something year 2000+. I will entertain any material type now. I like some steel frames such as gunnar, IF something along those lines. Size 16-17" Thanks.

I have an unbranded Sandvik Titanium frame I would sell for $400. It has a brushed finish and no dents or dings. It's a v-brake frame and the seat tube measures 16" C-C, 18" C-T. Just let me know if you want more info.

I have a 2010 S-works stumpjumper frame, disk only, with a 2009 brain fork.  The frame is missing the front derailleur cable stop, so you will have to run one gear up front.  Currently has an MRP chain guide on it as well.  I believe it is a 17in but can check on it tonight if you like.  I can also forward pics tonight if you would like that.  It is built up as a 1x10 right now.  PM me.
