I am headed to the lake this weekend and interested in bringing my bike with me. I have heard there are some trails but you must go and wonder around to find them. Can anyone help me. A link to your garmin would be RAD or some general location.

not all who wander are lost...

Thanks
SK

Edit: found this but looking for more.

Just went down a couple weekends ago.  Honey run is in good shape.  Fun trail not alot of climbing but flows good.  They have maps at the trailheads

Honey Run is in excellent shape. It's been trimmed recently, at least the connector and north loop were, we didn't ride the south loop. Great trail. I know a lot of people skip the connector, but to me that's the best part.
What, me hurry?

Thank you for the post. I brought my bike for a short stay early in the week.
re. Trail of Four Winds
Wheels: 2011 HiFi 29r FS, BB7's
Maps were at the information cabin.
I rode clockwise from main trail head. Fast to start on the South. Passed a cool cemetery. I thought a Harrier may have taken out of the airport the trail encompasses about 7:30 am. I never could see it. Trail tightened up to the west areas. Steep areas were washed out due to horse traffic. It wraps to the North and touches the lake. The single track was better on the North area.
Leaving the lake is a climb that might be 600 foot of rise. I walked most of it, too steep and loose rock on what was a road at some time. The trail jogs to the West and fades. I got a little lucky to find it to the South East after reviewing the map. Took a cool picture of a plane flying over a horse stables, wishing it would bomb them.  The South West area was fun, passed equestrians, steep areas of washed out roots to be aware of. Made it back in about 9:15 after stopping for bathroom and picture breaks.
Notes
Bring a buddy. It was too challenging to ride solo.
Thorns overhang the trail.
Chigger got me through the socks.
My hate of horses grew.
My love of GORC grew.
Bring a sturdy bike.
I would do it again!

@ Mcompton,

I got nailed with chiggers too on the Trail of Four Winds. I will be down there in a week or so and plan on bring some clippers to clean up the thorns. Looking to get a pocket saw from REI but if someone has one I could use please let me know. It is for a good cause.

Also be very cautious around the horses near the stables/glazing fields and on the trail. A equestrian ask me to get off my bike and stand on the trail's edge because her horses spook around bikes. I did as directed but man were the horses still nervous and edgy. I took a few more steps back for everyones safety. Later, I rode up quick on 5-8 horses grazing in a field near the fence line and they about rammed through the barbed wire fence, they were so spooked at my unexpected presence.
You have been warned!!!
