Great Event Venue/Location for a Tri..
As a spectator, after  riding to the race site (25 mile trip) the european flair of a smalltown awaits  the thirsty...behind the finish line one finds the nicely stocked grocerystore of Newtown with it's nice beercollection...
Bluemoon purchased at 9am (where else can you do this in St. Charles County on a sunday morning....waiting time usually till 11am).....sitting in the shade watching the Ladies and Gentlemen run, drinking good beer-perfect!
Thereafter turbocharged 25 mile ride back.....dreaming of doing a tri in the future- maybe 2013 in Newtown...

I did not compete this year, but have competed in this Tri on two prior occassions and consider it my favorate sprint distance tri in the area.

I have to agree. This is the best sprint tri in the area!
