Results are up at STLTT.com

I wouldn't call it a particularly fast night given the number of personal bests, but there were a few notable performances. Gotta call out a few...
  • Check out Phil Nadeau smashing that illusive 21 minute barrier. People are starting to ask what's his training secret. Rumor is he's training more or less full time.
  • TJ, thanks for the new (old) cone. Hopefully this one won't get stolen. I'm pretty sure I couldn't drink that one pretty. It's perfect. Oh, and way to smash through the 23 barrier!
  • Then there's Scott Ogilvie killing it in the Merckx class at 25+
  • And Madeleine cracking 26 in the women's field
Yeah it might not have been all that fast a night but a few had good legs

Thank you time:
  • Lynn and Don for sweeping and calling.
  • Rock-solid Ron for well, being rock solid
  • And Larry Pirtle for showing up, learning how to use that fancy new stopwatch, and making the whole evening that much more fun for everyone
You guys are all terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Thank you.

And finally, this week we had 40+ riders, so next week we'll draw 4 names for free entries. See you out there next Wednesday.

I wouldn't call it a particularly fast night...

Given my situation (returning from injury)....I'd be interested in everyones' views on Mark's statement.  Last night, I found myself 44 seconds faster than last Wednesday with an average power value 10 watts lower while using slower wheels. So, for me, it seemed like it was very fast last night but I don't have enough information to say it was conditions or merely the continuing progression of my own condition....

You guys know how to making suffering fun!  Thank you for the free entry!

Sorry to Ron for nearly taking him out as I hopped (literally) on the bike! I am getting WAY too confident in his Rock-Solid hold. It's funny to think how timid I was about the whole thing at first.

Great to see Mr. Pirtle, but I didn't get a chance to say hello. hope to see you out there again soon!
Thanks again for another great WNTT!

It was my new front wheel that was fast last night, not my legs ... but there was something special in the air. It felt spring-like compared to last week, and if there was humidity, I didn't feel it. Thanks Mark, Nola, Ron, and everyone who makes this very special event possible !

The winds seemed favorable for us fixed gear dudes.  I was aerobic the whole way, no gear mashing into a headwind and spinning out on the reverse side.  I've also been on a heavy training load this week. Had a PR last night.

You were fine, Steph.  Holding the tall lanky guy in the Black Oak kit was a hoot :P He was ready to go and spun out at "5" (due to my thumbs still hooked in his seat post
