You asked for it. You got it.
It's official. We have a schedule change for Wednesday July 4th.

We're going to run the Goldenberg Heller Wednesday TT series in the morning. This will give everyone who wants to do the TT a chance to race and still make it to the lake, the mountains, the coast, or to the next town over for the family BBQ and fireworks.

We'll get up nice and early so we can set everything up and begin registration at 8:30 AM. First rider will go off at 10:00 AM

A few asked about bringing eats for after when we discussed the AM start. By all means let's do. I've asked the CBCA guys to hold the pavilion for us, so if you're interested plan on sticking around for a post-race brunch or a banana or an oreo or even a donut maybe. Or maybe a bagel ... whatever  :)

Not that you really need it, but the official flyer for the series is available on USACycling. It's been updated to show the revised start time for the 4th.

Hope you can make it. See you out there

This is great news for the morning people in the series !

Though I recognize that my own nutritional habits are two bubbles off plumb, the notion of oreos at this time of day is slightly scary to me ... I can bring a cooler with beverages - bottled juices, smoothies as well as Gu Brew/sports drinks.

This is awesome!  Thanks, Mark and Nola!  I'll bring a portable griddle, and maybe cook up some eggs/pancakes/bacon?

Do not fear the Oreos. :)
We'll bring them, as always; but I expect only Kyle will eat them.
Me, I'd be inclined to go for one of those smoothies. And maybe a donut

You might need to bring a generator too. I don't know that the pavilion has electric. But oh boy does that sound good

Will do.  I have a small generator (basically a fancy-packaged car battery with electrical outlets on it-- amazing what you can find on Amazon) that will serve that purpose perfectly.

This is great news, brought about by the dedication of the wonderful volunteers in the StL cycling community.

Time to start planning... Do we want breakfast before or after the TTs?  if we want beforehand, I will set up at 8am for Breakfast at the pavillion, and pack it up around 9:30 am.  Or we can set it up around 10:30am for folks to eat after they've finished their TT.  Or we can do both.

I'll have a griddle and a toaster, along with a loaf of bread, butter, bacon, and a dozen eggs.

Who can bring coffee or other beverages, and maybe more eggs?  Maybe pancake batter and syrup?

Hell I'll go the that, only if I get a jump on the million of things I must do before I'm off again with the pro women.

Mind your thoughts, I would do nothing that would jeopardize this position.

I will bring the not so environmentally friendly plastic forks, knives, and spoons.  BTW, I was out there torturing myself today and I didn't see any electric outlets in the pavillion.

For those who want lunch instead of breakfast, my wife is stirring up a pot of authentic New Orleans style red beans & rice.

We'll also bring a few sodas.
