Dear Steven,
Well, us newby officials/race organizers started out by putting up cyclo-cross barriers in turn 3. I mean, it's not called Bumpy for nothing, right? Next, we DQ'd all race bikes without a working front brake and reflectors on the wheels - I mean, don't these track people read the rulebooks and traffic ordinances? We also figured we could get a lot more races going if we split them into two groups and raced half of them CW on the upper level whilst the other half rode CCW on the bottom half. We call it the "Ozark Oval" method of racing. By 6:30, pretty much everybody that was still alive decided that a good lynching was in order. Luckily for us, they used frayed brake cables and our portly, out-of-shape officials butts snapped that wire clean in half.
No beer for us, though. What kinda show you runnin' here? Anyhow, we've got it all under control. Next week we're planning on a tandem team pursuit followed by an in-field polo match. Tallyho, good sir.

"And you should know that by being a racing driver, you are under risks all the time. By being a racing driver means you are racing with other people. And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you're no longer a racing driver, because we are competing. We are competing to win, and the main motivation to all of us is to compete for victory; it's not to come 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th." - Ayrton Senna

After it got dark we did some car races around the track. Turns out that was boring so we did some stayer racing which was much more fun.

What no 3:1 critique or minimum weight checks? If I have to leave again you alll will probably allow the superman position for riders...
and in mass start races.
