Looking to get my grandson a 26" wheeled cross bike, does anyone have one out there, or know of a company that makes one?

Surky LHT comes in 26" (but is a touring bike not a cross bike... Long chainstays).  Or you could repurpose an old non-suspension mtb.

He is just 7 years old and is 4'4" tall.  He has a 650 wheeled track bike already and he looks like me riding a 64 cm frame on it, so something like an xs frame.  Would like something kind of nice, meaning not heavy, because PJ is thinking of using it also.  So a 650 wheeled frame would be perfect.

What size is that?  Is it steel?  And did it originally have 26" mountain bike wheels on it?  Price?
