Hello!

I am new to STL and new to biking.  I recently purchased a road bike and would like to start riding after work. I live near Clayton/Demun and would like to ride on this side of town (Forest Park, Maplewood, Brentwood, etc).  I would like to ride with a female with a little experience who could challenge me.  My e-mail address is johnston.sarah.d@gmail.com.  Please message me if you are interested in having a riding partner.

Sarah:)

Team Revolution (Women's cycling club) does a regular ride on Wednesday nights from Straubs in Webster Groves, 6pm. You can meet lots of women of various ability levels through the club :)

So - I just bought a Bianchi Impulso at Peloton....not ready to do clips just yet.  I have a couple of friends who have ridden the TeamRev Straub's ride and tell me it should not be my first group ride.  I should practice on the flats first.  I want to do clips shortly, but need more practice.  I'm looking to do the Big Shark Monday am women's ride in two Mondays (bike will be in maybe Tuesday).  Would love for anyone that can help me out - any advice, meetup for a practice ride, clinics, etc...  Looking forward to adding cycling to my cross-training regime - I run half and full marathons as well, so hoping to pick this up quickly.  Thanks in advance for help and suggestions!
