This goes out to the tons of people that use the Ozark Trail, Council Bluff and Berryman.  The Ozark Trail Association is predicting a budget shortfall which could be reduced if everyone that used the OT, actually supported the OTA.  OTA volunteers are responsible for building and maintaining trail, training crew leaders as well as certifying sawyers to cut out those big trees that are always falling.

No one is asking you to make a huge donation, just simply join and support the ever growing trail system that we all love having right in our back yard.

Here is a link to the membership page. Joining also makes the OTA look better for having more members supporting a cause that is getting less and less funding from private and public sources.

Look back before the OTA existed - no Middlefork, no Berryman re-routes, Courtois section barely existed, no one mowed the trail for you. beaver dams on the old connecter to Council Bluff made it impassible.......it goes on and on.

Just joined OTA even though I have not ridden one of the trails in the system as of yet....planning on it!

Groups like OTA and GORC do a tremendous job with the trail systems.

I'm a member. I think the OTA is stalking me though. I go to Berryman, they show up building trail. Sneak away to Council Bluff, they show up there too. Might have to actually build some trail soon... (But I did work on that new connector at Johnson Shutins, so kharma's OK)
