Would love to see some area riders at Outside Outfitters's Niner demo day at Castlewood on Saturday June 16th from 10am-4pm. The Niner truck will be stocked with a generous lineup of bikes and frame sizes. Seize the opportunity to ride some fantastic 29ers! Should be a fun day, and there will be some free goodies too.
Register and see more info here: https://www.outsideo....aspx?eventid=1
Hope to see you there!

I was there, it was fun and I really appreciate the freebies, thanks to everyone who organized and was working this event. I tested the RIP, and I think it is my favorite bike I have ever test ridden. Lots of fun, thanks again!

rip 9 was truly great but i am unsure why niner uses such wide handlebars. of course i went in the afternoon with 2 inches of water on the ground.
you're one in a million but in India there are one thousand of you

I rode the SIR 9 and it was a truly awesome experience. It was my first go at a rigid single speed and I liked it. I thought the wide bars were awkward too, then when I got back on my bike my bars felt really narrow.

Haven't you ever seen a Pontiac commercial? Wider is better! Here's why....
If you like wide bars, you are good to go. If you don't like wide bars, you cut them and then you are set. Everybody wins!
