Awesome, James. Have fun and let us know how it goes. I'd ride that trail again in a
minute.

PS I believe I'll get a replacement frame from Specialized under warranty, so all good w that.

I was down there again last week. The trails are super dry now, they were pretty muddy last time I rode them. The state park folks are putting white chat on the trails, wish they would stop that but there are huge piles there so I guess it's going to happen. Even without the chat, the trails seemed really loose to me, had a couple of scary times on the curves. Bu this trail is lots of fun, and it's constantly changing. Guess I have ridden it four times now. There's a section shown on the map that takes off from the new visitor's center. I started to ride it but it was a paved trail, I'm wondering if it turns into single track later? If anyone tries this, post up, didn't have enough time to spare last visit.
What, me hurry?

I rode the trails at Table Rock twice last week, and they are awesome.  The first day, I started at the Trailhead 1 parking lot, and rode all the trails clockwise.  Each time I came to a connector, I went left.  The trails were much more technical than I'm used to.  My normal rides are SIUE and Silver Lake, with the occasional trip to Castlewood.  There was also A LOT of climbing which I expected.  I had a blast though.  And the trails are marked better than anything I've seen, so it would be hard to get lost out there.  At one point on the green trail I wasn't sure if I was going the right way, but eventually saw a green tree marker.  I ended up with 12.79 miles, but I did get turned around on connector 2 on the way back and added a little bit there.  On the second day, I just rode the red and blue trails clockwise.  I did notice some places where they were putting down the white chat, but it seems that they are only using it to keep the trail from washing out.  I didn't think it was too bad.

I would recommend if anyone is in the Branson area, hit those trails.  They are a lot of fun and I can't wait to go back.  I'll consider going down there for a weekend just to ride.

There is a bike shop called Branson Downhill Bikes, and if you go to their website (I didn't want to put a link on here), click on trails, you will find a really nice color map of the trails.
