I don't have any guarantees for the posting of updated points, but I'll have them done before the next east race (July 14th, Pfirecracker @ Castlewood!)

I'm guessing that the times posted are from our scoring sheets and not Two Guys Scoring. If so, unless Mark took the time to adjust the time on the sheets, the Cat 2/SS times are 3 minutes slower than actual times listed and the Cat 3 times are 4 minutes slower.
The Cat 1 times are accurate

Out of curiosity, what exactly were the foam rectangles on the back of our numbers? One of the ladies volunteering told me she understand they were just magnets. Did these trip a timer when we crossed to help give more accurate times, or were they actually timing chips?
By the way, no one asked for them at the end, and I didn't hear much about them, so mine ended up at home. Should we bring them to future races, or was this just a throw-away?
Thanks again!

As for scoring process, Struckmann can speak to his process and its capabilities. It is a very impressive system and can take any race with very little help and score it spot on.
We as a club have always scored progressive lap times and posted those for each lap. The Two Scoring Guys system is what allowed the unique lap times to be posted. Super cool stuff!

Nope, the chips are disposable, so please recycle them. We were only collecting chips from the marathon racers and DNF'ers so that they didn't ride past the timing system and accidentally trip extra laps. We are able to put lap counts in for categories that cause the system to quit reading the chip after it hits the designated number of laps. Marathon presents a problem in that we never know what the maximum lap count will be and not everyone does the same number of laps, so collecting the chip was the easiest way we could figure out how to do it.
As far as what the rectangle is, it is a RFID transmitter. Think of it in terms of an airplane and radar. Our tower has four radar antennae on it, and at a certain distance, the chip appears to the radar. It tracks the chip repeatedly all the way through the gate. Now, due to the fact that it shoots a wide pattern, we have to rope off an area around the system to prevent false or early reads. I think Lee's chip and one other were reading super strong, so we had to increase the no chip area so it wouldn't read them when they went towards the 180 degree turn just before the finish line.
The system will again rear its head at ICC 3-6-12 this weekend, Dirt Crits (8 days away!!!), and the Pfirecracker. The cool thing about it at Dirt Crits is that if you want to be real geeky, we can show/print your lap times for the entire race.

I am usually pretty geeky (whether I want to be or not!), but I live too far away for the Thursday-night races, so I'm sorry I'm gonna miss out on seeing more of it at the Dirt Crits. I plan to be at Pfirecracker though!
Thanks again!
