if there were a sprint comp held up @northbrook on June 30th around Noon.  Would any of you be interested in attending?  Your interest in attending is directly related to whether or not they will hold one.  Top 5 guys there go 11.0-11.7.    We would be in that time frame.
Q: Do you really sprint with such reckless abandon that you need straps?
A: Yes.

Interested?  Very, as I need some time on the track before Nats.  Able to attend?  Unlikely, as somebody has to man the shop on Saturdays. Not impossible, but unlikely.

Count me in. I'll start planning for it. I'm still trying to work out the details to make Masters Nationals. Thanks for thinking of me!

lol, good!  You're at the only track in america, perhaps the world who would have let you out there with skate shoes strapped on to platforms!

I don't have any details at this point but Im 99% sure that they will have sprinting for lower categories and most certainly for women too.  I'll post all the details when I know them after this weekend.

The date is confirmed, I will know the start time shortly.  I raced against most of the guys who will be there this weekend at Blaine and holy crap they were wicked fast.

Ok, so its confirmed:  6/30 Sprinter's Omnium 200m, Sprint Tourney, 3 Lap Scratch and Win N Out.  Entry is 25 bucks.   The start time is currently set at 10AM on Saturday, but I've spoked with a few people in charge and it is rumored that to accommodate us all they may push it back to Noon or possibly 2pm.  Racing for all Cats, for the tourney we will be grouped according to 200 times.  Everybody is still going right?  Ill let yall know about the start time.

I'm going.  I might be more inclined to drive up Friday night anyway, so an early start time is not necessarily a bad thing (it would allow us to leave earlier on Saturday).  The girl may not be going so we might me able to share a room to make it palatable for all.
