I was on my facebook today when I came across a story on my newsfeed that read "

When I see people riding a bike in the street I always wish I had a brick I could throw at them. The street is for my car! Dickface."

Being a cyclist, I obviously felt a need to respond. My response reads, "Being one of those dickfaces in the street, I'd like to remind you that I have every legal right to that roadway as well. I'm sure the 2 seconds you were delayed caused you an extreme inconvenience that could only be solved with horn honking and brick throwing. Unfortunately, road rage is illegal and most of us know how to read license plates."

If anyone else would like to message him a friendly comment, his name is Zach Smith and his profile is http://www.facebook....hp?id=763742500.

This is why I carry a brick in my Jersey pocket. Most motorists don't realize how fast a bike can be and how many stop lights are in front of them. I caught one in Edwardsville that tried to grab me by the back of my Jersey neck, though I don't actually carry a brick I did manage to flag down a cop while at full sprint. He took all three teenage kids into custody and had the car towed. Then took down my cell phone and personally called me to report the fate of the driver and passenger that tried to grab me. Its nice that Edwardsville PD takes that stuff seriously. Maybe I could carry a carbon fiber brick!

I was intrigued with the carbon fiber brick but there does not seem to be any for sale.  When I looked up carbon fiber weapons I was very impressed.  I sent ole zach a quick message.

[waits for D and CT to jump in and start defending the chucking of bricks at cyclists]

In other news, I see a market vacancy for carbon fiber anti-car devices. Anyone want to start up a carbon fiber brick company?

Maybe a few ceramic pieces from old spark plugs, I hear they will demolish a car window with even a half azzed throw. That would be much less expensive than my prototype carbon fiber brick! Hahaha

But it has to be carbon fiber! Carbon or die!

How about those pointy little hammers people keep in their cars to shatter a window in case they get trapped in the car?  They look small enough to keep in a jersey pocket.  Perfecting the tomahawk type throw with it might take some practice though.

Wait a minute! wouldn't throwing carbon bricks screw up the environment? think about your carbon footprint!
(D + CT will certainly have fun with that!)

How about a jersey that says STLCPD on the back.
