Well, I've got mud on my face, huh?  Most of you who know me, know that I have "issues".

I've already learned something(s) from this.  From here on out I will completely disregard everything typed by CT and Dio.

CT- I fixed the spelling error you pointed out.  That's the ONLY thing I've edited.

1776- I'm in.  SERIOUSLY.  It might be therapeutic for me with all my anger issues.  Cycling and beating on my drums just isn't cutting it these days.   I don't think the other two are up for it...

Trekker- I did certainly goad them on.  However I stuck my prod in that spot, thinking the chances that either of the two names mentioned (both non track racers) would read a post in the track racing forum, would be slim.  At the same time I hoped they would be lurking where they didn't belong, so as to get the reaction out of them that I did.  I assumed to much.  As someone who does not race in MTB or triathlons, I never visit those forums, let alone post there.  I am an Idiot, and should assume no one else would think along the same lines.

Cory-  You're right, it is pretty negative.  I took this internet stuff a little to seriously, and felt the all the negativity that Dio and CT have put out on this forum (there's a surprising amount) for as long as I can remember, and got pretty upset.  I stooped to their level,  after this post, I'm done with this thread.

Nick - My whole thing is, I'll never type anything I won't say in the "real world", and it sure seems like if Dio or CT were abiding by the same idea, they wouldn't type half the stuff they do.  Or, if they did talk to people like they do here, in real life, they'd be getting dirty looks, spit on, cursed out, and beat up.  Or maybe that's what drives them to be cyber bullies, they have to behave in the real world so they just save up their angst for us here.

Dio- Yep, I'm nasty.  That's how life is here on the south side.  People shoot other people.  People try to steal your bike from you while you're riding it.  People try to break into your house.  People sneak up on you and beat you for no reason than to beat you.  People sell their bodies for money so they can buy drugs.  People curse at their 5 year old children with more four letter words in one sentence than words that aren't.  The world I live in is nasty.  It's nasty 24/7 365.  It's nasty at 3 A.M. when someone is laying on their horn to get my next-door neighbor out of their house.   Modern life is war, pardon me if I've got a chip on my shoulder and a low tolerance for (what I can only assume is) your petty bourgeois BS.

To quote nomoretickets "F*** this, I'm out."

oh, and,

So - have you decided to stay around long enough to attain puberty?

How cavalier and elitist are your remarks; they are so interseting [sic].

Say - I have discovered the name that belongs between "TYLER" and "bick:"  It is "Presumption."

But I was not disappointed; your screed closed in character and with not unexpected language.

Oh, and -

@stlbiker - now that was comedy...nice!!!

This is starting to exceed the dramatic effect of a Jersey Shore episode...I'm waiting for Snooki to chime in.

hahaha!  Agreed!!

...on the other hand, the thought of stinky, sweaty chamois junk this early in the morning is a little unsettling...and not particularly favorable to the fellas.

HAW ! to the preceding 3 comments!  I did get some chuckles!
I love pummeling the perished pony!

And before someone thinks I am referring to the comments of stlbiker and digyourownwhole - I was just thesaurusing* a new way of saying "Beating a dead horse."
Ooops - can that be taken two ways?

*  Love the new word someone supplied in that Keirin thread!

@Diogenes:  I appreciate that StLBiker injected humor at a point when the horse was not only dead and beaten but swarming with flies and maggots.  She illustrates the point that none of this web nonsense (whether on this forum or otherwise) should be taken too seriously.  Unfortunately, sometimes it is.

This whole thing has been pretty interesting in that one never can tell what will be the thing to push someone else over their personal edge.  Ty felt pushed over his limit at some point and he acted out.  He used the only tool he believed he had to communicate with you and CT.  It is what it is and he owned it.  I think we're all fortunate that it was Ty and he just tells you what he thinks instead of it being some sociopath who let it rage internally and then went ape shit and killed a heap of people.  Of course, some sociopath would have to figure out who you and CT are, but you get the point.

We are all in the same community and it is pretty small.  Regardless of who we think is an a-hole or a DB, I feel that even considering the perceived a-holes in our community, very few (if any) are truly bad people.  I have some reservations about CT, but then on some days I feel like he just needs a hug.  (I kid. I kid.)  I don't like a lot of things that you and CT and a few others say at times, but at least you get me thinking.  What happened here and in the Keirin thread to you an CT was uncool, but I think you both demonstrated a classier side to you that maybe wasn't lost on all people.

D - I'm glad you are getting some mileage out of it!

With regards to some of the comments here, I would post a silly meme of how stupid Internet arguments are, but I'll just be accused of being an insensitive nazi Satan worshiper, so I'll just leave it at that.

Oh, and Ive got $20 on D, the nerdy guys are always the surprise winners in the "who's packin" contest

And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you're no longer a racing driver, because we are competing. Dig,

I'm a changed person. ;)   Out of respect for all who are racing this year, I asked Mark to pin the post I made last year in the wake of Randy's passing.  Maybe he can also post it in the other racing sections of the forum.  While Randy's accident was during a road race, he could have just as easily been in a MTB or CX race.  I enjoy reading what you have to say, so be careful during this upcoming season.

Peace,
CT
