I did like his newly-coined verb for a word search, while eschewing the hyphenization.

Hey ignoramus, the word you attempted to use is supposed to be hyphenation.

Actually, unread one - both are acceptable; you can check it...
In your quest, you might venture beyond the school's restroom stall walls.
Are you related to the OP - or just his vocabulary?

Mark, any way to only allow users with USAC licenses use the bike "racing" forum?
The sets of users one does not like and of USAC license-holders are not mutually exclusive.

I think, that with a little more practice, and possibly a rigged up "roller" for the back of the scooter to keep a bike from getting too close, we could have regular Keirin races here in STL.

As much as I'd love to race a Keirin here, I'm not sure about the Insurance logistics of letting someone else drive the scooter for this purpose.  Also, I think my wife would revoke my scooter privileges if I let someone else drive it.  ;) That being said, I'd be more than happy to volunteer to drive "the derney".

Thoughts?

Thoughts?  Only that it's . . .  completely awesome!  The ability to motor-pace at Penrose will take racing to the next level.  A Keirin at Penrose . . . WOW!  Thanks for the generous offer Tyler!  !!!

I think there definatly needs to be some major testing to get things calibrated, and the pacer used to everything. But I know there are some people that would be test racers(including me), so there is definaltly at least a chance to get this started up.

I would definitely want to give a keirin a shot up at penrose. The idea of having to go to one of the out of town tracks just to give it a shot is a bit daunting.

I will drop to your level for a moment (but certainly not your vernacular!):
"Look, Jerk - you have absolutely no idea my experience or background, so you are hardly qualified to call me out on contributions - let alone use gutter language in your replies."
In all fairness, there is no way that anyone CAN know your experience or background since you hide your identity behind a pseudonym.  Not judging whether good or bad, but you can't really call somebody on the whole "you don't know me" when you take great care to prevent anyone from knowing you.

PLEASE, Clefcam... everybody knows you hide behind this internet handle to protect your family from the throngs of adoring Moonlight Ramble '09 groupies. While I think it's admirable... you know what they say about those who live in glass houses.

Some things to consider if we were to do a keirin, aside from practicing with the motor to achieve the correct timing and exit speed....  All riders and officials would need to familiarize themselves with the sprint rules and everybody will need to be able to 100% maintain their line through turn 3 and 4 in the final 200 with no exceptions what so ever (necessary for all races anyway).  Not to mention approval from the Track Czar as well.

for real. keirins get crazy enough as it is from what ive watched. throwing in the nasty bumps in 3 and 4 up at penrose will certainly make it interesting
