We skipped that section because it was like 3 turns and 2 round-a-bouts, and only added an extra 1/4 mile...we had you go straight, then turn left instead.
We didn't follow the runners course exactly, their course had some sections (like that one) that just made it unecessarily difficult for cyclists traveling at higher speeds on an open course at night, so if you were following where they had barriers sitting on the side of the road, you weren't taking to correct route.
