Just got back from study abroad and had some cash left over courtesy of having my full months food stipend payed out for the 2 days of that month I would be there. Decided to finally invest in an upgrade from my conversion bike. Found a killer deal on a 2009 S-Works Langster and some extras on eBay, and jumped all over it. I've been on it for about a week and I'm in love. Hopefully I'll be able to get some new wheels in a few weeks, and hopefully a better (read: lighter) crankset after this track season.

The weight of those cranks may be the only thing you dont need to worry about. Bad ring, soft cranks, bad interface, 130bcd, not round. Weight matters none.

Sram makes an upgraded BB that is much much nicer, or if you want to spend lots of dough on top of the line Chris King is the way to go. But you should never "upgrade" until you find a fault. I know lots of people that ride the standard BB and it works fine.

yea, i figure if i do go with the omnium, most of the deals i find include the bb anyway so i might as well ride it till it falls apart. just didnt know if you had heard anything about them or not.
