I'll be there. I'll try to get there early to help sweep.

Steve, I talked to you at Big Shark today but as a reminder, I need to borrow a 56cm for the ride. Do the Cannondale's have clips or cages? Helmets are required at the track I assume?

I have a pair or two of pedals with toe straps. You'll have to bring yer own darn helmet.

That is the second of two of the bikes requested for Monday.

Weather looks like it may not cooperate tomorrow. Will you post on this thread if the shoot is cancelled?

On track nights when the weather is iffy I post current conditions from trackside upon arrival. These are updated as the start time nears. I will certainly do the same for this gig and post what the weather is doing Monday morning. No news is good news. If I post then the conditions are questionable and/or uncooperative for track riding.

I will not be sending out the mass text if/when I must cancel riding for Monday but will continue to do so for race evenings to the phone numbers I know belong to trackies.

I too am watching the weather but what only matters is how dry the track surface is (and of course lightening and tornadoes). The presence of morning dew is also a concern. The sites I look at are;

Weather Underground, Saint Louis local forecast
Weather Underground Radar
Accuweather, Saint Louis local forecast
Accuweather Radar

I am still optimistic about Monday, I find the second weather site as getting our area's challenging weather forecast right on more than any other. Their hourly prediction at this time is for temps in the upper 60's, low 70's and partly cloudy.

The track, she stayed dry and a few of us had fun. Even I got on my bike for a few laps but only after the camera was long gone. Thanks to all that were able to come out on short notice. The story I'm told will air tomorrow Tuesday at 3 on channel five.

See the rest of you Thursday. swikles

Way to represent the stl track scene guys (and gals), you all put on great show for them.

Did you guys end up running any actual races?

Molly- I totally agree with bill, you said all the right stuff and showed a great deal of enthusiasm.
Q: Do you really sprint with such reckless abandon that you need straps?
A: Yes.
