Hey everyone, My name is Zach and I just joined here. I started riding fixed last school year, and have been pretty active ridding down here in Springfield, hopping to meet some other riders up here in St. Louis

Sup zach. Theres a few of us up here. Give it a couple mroe weeks and I got friends coming in from mizzou and KC that will be riding. If you want to meet riders, keep an eye out for the fixed gear non-races that will be posted in this section, or try to attend a FBC (****ing bike club) ride. Theres usually a few fixed riders that attend that, but mostly its just people one bikes having fun. When you gonna be moving up here?

This is my first week back in town. I'll definitely keep my eye out for those rides.

I'm always down to ride. I quit going to FBC rides about a year ago. They have gotten out of hand with the amount of unsafe riders wasted out of their minds. It used to be a great thing but I'm not really sure it is helping the image of cycling in St. Louis. This is just my opinion.

Really?  All of the 4 or 5 FBC rides I've been on have been pretty tame.  Fools are drunk, sure, but people don't get too gnarly.  Party on wheels.  But like you said, just MHO.

In a group of 200-400 people, there will always be a handful of jerks that make the entire group look bad.
