linking Grants Trail trailhead...anybody ride it yet?  It looks passable from the highway.  That's quite a camber the designers put on the deck - looks like a zoomy piece of rollercoaster track.

all the pavement is in, they are still putting in finishing touches, but its crossable after hours...

Union bridge over 55 is open, and, oh yeah, no bike lane.  :angry:

There's no bike lane on the road on either side of the bridge, so it's somewhat silly to have one exist only on the bridge.  The bigger thing, though, is that heading south across the bridge, a cyclist would typically want to be in the left lane in order to turn to go to the trailhead.  Novice cyclists may be confused by the existence of the bike lane.

Some "sharrows" would be nice, though.

novice automobile drivers may be confused by bicycles pulling into the left lane and then sitting at the end of the bridge after bend and downhill.  'why are they saying "hitme"?' A left turn bike lane would actually be nice, or a left turn anything and some signage.
