I just rode the course, looks good, very fast. I am anticipating between 4-5 minute laps. There is quite a bit of pavement, probably 500m total.

Anyway, as specified on the flyer, if 100 riders register for the race, I'm going to give away $200 to one of the racers. You won't have to be present to win.

Here are the payouts:

11:00 am C: 1st: $35 2nd: $20 3rd: $10
12:15 pm B: 1st: $50 2nd: $40 3rd: $30 4th: $20 5th: $10
1:30 pm   A: 1st: $85 2nd: $65 3rd: $45 4th: $30 5th: $25

This race also counts for Bubba points, so its part of the B race overall for the Bianchi frameset.

Subscriptions to Point to Point will also be on sale for $16, which is 33.333% off the regular price!

See ya'll there.

Speaking of Bubba points, are the series standings listed somewhere on the Net?

Sure. When you enter the park, you can go right or left. The race will be run on the left. The start will be on the road that leads to the shelter. Go around the right side of the parking area and the shelter and then hop onto the path that runs for about 100m When the path ends turn left, you can kind of see the route but all the grass is short now so its a bit interpretive without markings. Go straight, you will hit a gravel path after a bit. I am going to take people part way down the path and then do a 180 into the grass (which will be trimmed) and then back down the path. Take a hard right at the end of the gravel. The course will duck into the trees (long grass will be trimmed / its hard to describe excatly where) and then back out around an off camber right hand turn, and back towards the shelter. Bear right and get back on the road, then hard right into the grass, around some trees, and back onto the road coming back at the shelter for the finish.

should make for a close race.

see ya. Scott.

Yes, that is where it is.

Also, it just came to my attention that Hwy 30 is also called Gravois, but the Gravois  I reccomend taking is just to the South of that one. I reccomend taking the Gravois that does not look like a Highway, and has a very narrow bridge. So its OLD Gravois to OLD 141.  hope that clears up any confusion. See you tommorrow.

Also, I just assumed women would race the C race, since that has been the standard at the other Bubba races.

Very good race. The course was fairly simple, but still ended up being plenty hard to race on. Thanks to all who put the race on!!
